Victory!
We hear so much about the struggle and persevering throughout the Bible, but what does it say about the VICTORY? Who wins? What does it mean to have VICTORY?

When you play a game and win it, this is an example of a victory

OUR FAITH GIVES US VICTORY
1 John 5:4- For everyone who has been born of God overcomes the world. And this is the VICTORY that has overcome the world—our faith. 5 Who is it that overcomes the world except the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?
1 Corinthians 15:55- “O death, where is your VICTORY? O death, where is your sting?” 56 The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. 57 But thanks be to God, who gives us the VICTORY through our Lord Jesus Christ.
Revelation 12:10- Then I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, “Now salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren, who accused them before our God day and night, has been cast down. 11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death.
1 Corinthians 15:57- But thanks be to God, who gives us the VICTORY through our Lord Jesus Christ.
Some people think that when they go to battle with the enemy in things such as spiritual warfare, they need to do all sorts of things to defeat him. Often times I see those same people constantly struggling with the enemy or have repetitive attacks over the same issue. If they only knew that by simply having faith in Jesus Christ as their saviour, they will have VICTORY! Faith is more than just believing that Christ exists, but believing that He will go to battle for us, fight for us, and save us! When we put our full trust in Him to do the work, we are having true faith! We don't need special weapons, prayers, charms, oils, cloths or rituals to gain VICTORY over the enemy, all we need is to really believe and lean on our Lord and Saviour and know we are children of an all powerful God who is mighty to save! The enemy cannot stand a chance against the power of the blood that Christ shed for us, and that is our testimony!

GOD FIGHTS FOR US
Deuteronomy 20:1- “When you go out to war against your enemies, and see horses and chariots and an army larger than your own, you shall not be afraid of them, for the Lord your God is with you, who brought you up out of the land of Egypt. 2 And when you draw near to the battle, the priest shall come forward and speak to the people 3 and shall say to them, ‘Hear, O Israel, today you are drawing near for battle against your enemies: let not your heart faint. Do not fear or panic or be in dread of them, 4 for the Lord your God is he who goes with you to fight for you against your enemies, to give you the VICTORY.’
Psalm 60:12- With God we shall do valiantly; it is he who will tread down our foes.
Deuteronomy 20:4- for the Lord your God is he who goes with you to fight for you against your enemies, to give you the VICTORY’
Once again, it is not us who need to do the fighting, but God who ultimately by His power will go to battle for us, giving us the VICTORY! All we need to do is have faith in Him and trust Him!
WE WIN!
James 1:12- Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love him.
John 16:33- I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.”
Revelation 21:6- And he said to me, “It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. To the thirsty I will give from the spring of the water of life without payment. 7 The one who conquers will have this heritage, and I will be his God and he will be my son.
God tells us over and over in the Bible that He wins and since we are His children, we win also! So many people worry about everything happening in the world today because the enemy looks like he is winning, but have no fear! Our God has already written the story from begenning to end and because He is the author and finisher of our salvation, He promises to deliver us from evil. It is He who will go before us in battle and give us VICTORY! How awesome is our God!
